The website has developed quickly and it is now easily accessed through some of the key search engines, it has hyperlinks to it from the main Tourism website in England and Scotland as well as links with bodies like English Heritage. Throughout the Foot and Mouth Epidemic of 2001 the website continued to have a constant number of hits as walkers used this website as their source of up to date information on the walk and access to it.

The website attracts many walkers and potential walkers who are looking for suitable accommodation, eating places, transport & bag carrying companies to make the St Cuthbert's Way experience that much more enjoyable. These and other service providers can purchase listings and take website advertising, this section detailing the forms of advertising, costs and ordering details.

Entry onto the website can be made at the start of any month and runs for a full year. We can however receive applications at any stage and based on a cut off date of the 10th of each month it may be possible to attract up to 21 days of free entry.

The cost are effective as of the 1st November 2001.
